Petra Nikolic, CEO of B+N Slovenia has received the “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” award from the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the highly efficient management of the company. Ms Nikolic was given the award on the “Female Entrepreneurs’ Day” organised by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the “We Are the Next Generation” series of events launched by the European Commission.
Several companies managed by female CEOs were presented on the “Female Entrepreneurs’ Day” held this year for the first time. Those present were reminded of the importance of diversity, tolerance and gender equality in the world of business. The special characteristics of the companies managed by women were also emphasized.
