B+N: UV MOBILE DISINFECTION CAN COMMENCE ON TRAINS AND TRAMS

The company started working on the development as early as 2019 with the aim of introducing faster disinfection solutions to protect passengers in addition to manual cleaning during vehicle cleaning. The device for UV disinfection of passenger vehicles is designed to be easily applied to trainsets or trams in the future and to be able to move between passenger seats by safely sterilizing the areas below the seats by extending the openable side wings.

A relatively new color on the palette is UV disinfection. Its advantage over chemical and ozone treatment is that a shorter exposure time is sufficient to achieve the same result, in addition to uniform disinfection quality, chemical-free.
