REFERENCIA MOSODÁK ZRT. HAS INSTALLED A HUGE INDUSTRIAL WASHING MACHINE

One of the largest and most modern industrial washing machines used in the country for washing hospital textiles was put into operation by Szeged, a subsidiary of B + N Referencia Zrt. , In Szeged.

14 METERS LONG, 12 TONS IS THE NEW TUBE WASHING MACHINE OF THE REFERENCE LAUNDRIES

Referencia Mosodai Zrt., With nationwide coverage, is one of the leading textile cleaning companies in Hungary: it serves more than eighty hospital sites in its nine regional laundries.
Dániel Muravölgyi , CEO of the company, stressed that the company is committed to technological development and environmental awareness, which not only reduces the ecological footprint of their plants, but also makes it easier for employees to work.
The individual phases of washing – soaking, detergent washing, rinsing – were set up in separate chambers, with a separate tube washing machine and a newly purchased press machine, so that it could be used to clean 1,200 kilograms of clothes per hour. The 14-meter-long, 12-tonne tube washing machine is loaded with 60 kilograms and uses only 3-3.5 liters of water to wash one kilogram of hospital textiles. 95 percent of the older generation of pipe washing machines, which have been operating in Hungary for up to 20-40 years, wash with 10 liters of water per kilogram, compared to these, the new equipment saves more than 50 percent of water.

IT SAVES ENERGY

A press with a load of 60 kilograms and a pressure of 47 bar, which squeezes the water out of the washed fabric with such high pressure that it does not have to be dried before ironing, also contributes greatly to efficiency. This technology saves 20 percent of steam energy or a significant amount of electrical energy by eliminating the need for steam for drying.

The modern machine park meets the hygienic needs of healthcare even in an environmentally friendly, low washing temperature . It is equipped with a remote monitoring, with which, among other things, the values ensuring the hygiene of the textiles leaving the laundry – the detergent addition, the temperature and the pH of the water – can be checked already during washing.

The Szeged plant serves, among others, the clinical center of the University of Szeged, the dormitories of the higher education institution and the institutions of the Csongrád County Health Care Center.
